MEET COLIN ESTREM
Proprietor
Colin has had a passion for the Restaurant industry for many years. He worked in a number of restaurants in high school and then decided to get a degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from the University of Wisconsin Stout. During his sophomore year he studied abroad in Palma de Mallorca Spain. Upon graduating he returned to Palma and gained more work experiences. He eventually returned home and began his career working for the Marshall Fields Company in its Flagship Chicago location as a sous chef and eventually executive chef.
He later moved back to Wisconsin to become executive chef of The Creamery Restaurant. During his time there he was able to procure ingredients directly from the farmers in the area which was a very formative experience. In Wisconsin he met his now wife Kitsi and decided to follow her to Naples, Florida where he began working for D’amico and Partners in their Cafe Lurcat Concept as a restaurant manager. It was there that he began to learn about wine. This knowledge led him to open a small wine bar that he named Avenue Wine Cafe.
He really enjoyed creating a business and in the fall of 2014 he began planning a new concept…7th Avenue Social. Colin’s favorite things are spending time with his wife and daughters, cooking for his family, fishing of any kind, cycling and diving.
